The other day i was walking in the park- walking my two dogs and my border collie was swimming in the lake the she comes out and lo and behold i saw what i thought was a dragone like 1.5m long, green, scaly...come out of the lake and me dog tried to eat it, then it tried to eat my dog. I thought it was the Loch Ness monster and I was cursing that I didn't have a camera.
I found out it was an iguana- apparently they can grow to lengths of 3m. That is amazing, it was like something out of Jurassic Park! I really cannot believe such things can exist, they must be like the last living closest things to dinasours! You learn/see something new every day, huh?
