Travelling

Well one country, is much like the other
They all see the same sky.

That's what he said
And I believe him
I always do.

----------
We're all people
- all fall prey to the same desires
All driven by the same needs
We all suffer one way.
------
Canterbury, Kent, England
-----------
And no, the world is not fair.
How misguided we are, chasing justice.

Every generalization has exceptions - except this one.

And right as you posted that nice comment on my blog, I had to go post the silly one immediately above.

I will bow graciously to any revenge you choose to mete out in future...

Oooh, you're in for it Darius...Watch your back!

I remember staring at the old bricks in Paris and London in the 70s and thinking about how Canada was formed by people trying to escape from the millenia of conflict between France and England.
Even though they tried to continue fighting this place was far enough away that the people here began to forget what all of the fighting was about and voila! I can't wait for the next stage when we will eliminate the concept of countries.
(But I am not holding my breath)

I quite like the concept of countries. Obviously there are downpoints to it...I dunno.

I'm not gonna say anymore, I might confuse myself, or worse - contradict myself!

Such a pretty post. I was in Canterbury a week or two ago. I liked the place and I felt reassured by my sister's choice of location but I did wonder for a moment that one town is much like any other. They are all filled with tourists pointing cameras at churches.

So stay in wonderment and may you continue to take pictures of beautiful things. Be well x

thanks benjamin. Canterbury's my home-town, so I guess I see it through different eyes in some respects though.

Hi Leila!

It's good to see that you've returned!

I hope you're doing well.

You truly are an extraordinary girl in an ordinary world!

I just deleted a long comment containing all sorts of unsolicited advice...All I can say is make the most of your youth and your talents...You represent hope to me (not to put any more unnecessary pressure on you). When I look around, I see a lot of young people who, quite frankly, make me nervous when I think that they'll be running this world one day...You are smart and sensitive, and when I read your blog, I am impressed by you.

I see a bright future for you. Go out there and get it! When you find happiness, grab onto it and ride it for as long as you can. When you look back later in your life, try to have as few regrets or missed opportunities as possible. (I know you probably think you already know this, but it's just theoretical right now)...

I'm not quite sure why I felt the need to tell you all this at this particular moment, but there it is.

Take care out there, Leila!

Your Pal,

Zambo.

The sky here is same as the sky in your country. I love this similarity of sky for all the human beings.

I like that saying--they all see the same sky.
We all wish upon the same stars.

Greetings Leila. I hope you are well. Thank you, once again, for your visit. And for how it prompted me to come here.

Your images reflect a keen eye. (especially Canterbury, Kent)

Your words reflect a keener mind. (especially 'How misguided we are, chasing justice')

"How misguided we are chasing justice"
Such wisdom!

Regarding countries -it seems that national barriers are breaking down. What we need is a world government in many people's view.
